The Pandora, the University of Georgia’s yearbook, has been published nearly every year since 1886, serving as a rich source of institutional and social history that has traced the growth and development of the country’s first state-chartered university.
Volumes of the Pandora yearbook are available both online and in print, with varying years of coverage:
Pandora yearbooks 1886-1938 and 1965-1974 are viewable online at the The Digital Library of Georgia. Additionally, HathiTrust provides many of those same volumes online, plus the years 1939-1963 not covered by the Digital Library of Georgia.
Full details of print volumes of the Pandora yearbook available for viewing at the UGA Libraries are listed in our library catalog record. Print volumes of the Pandora cannot be checked out. Pandora yearbooks are located in three different buildings, with varying years available at each location:
During the years 2011-2016, the Pandora was issued on CD-ROM format rather than as print volumes. These CD-ROMS are located in the Reference collection on the 1st floor of the UGA Main Library.
