Q. Where can I talk in the library?

We have several locations for group discussions or for individuals attending a virtual meeting.

Miller Learning Center 
2nd-4th floors: 94 group study rooms. The 2nd floor rooms are for use by groups of two or more people only. The 3rd and 4th floor rooms give priority to groups of two or more people. See full policy.
Outside of study rooms, the 2nd floor of the MLC is the most conversational floor, particularly near Jittery Joes.

Main Library
1st floor: Cafe area and 28 small group study rooms. Individuals may use the study rooms unless a group is waiting.
4th floor: Collaborative study space on the north side

McBay Science Library
2nd floor: Although there are no study rooms, the entire 2nd (entry) floor allows discussion.

All locations are first come, first served with the exception of the larger Barr Seminar Room in the Main Library.
