Q. Do the UGA Libraries provide verification of rare books or artwork?

The UGA Libraries cannot verify, evaluate, or appraise items on your behalf, but you are welcome to consult our archives to conduct personal research on this matter.

You can also use ArchiveGrid to check whether there are other repositories around the country that might own the materials you need to research. Another place you can check is the Digital Library of America if you would like to see a digital surrogate for verification.
