Clearing a cache

Caches are websites that your browser stores to come back to more quickly. Clearing your cache is a bit different than clearing your history.

Go to Safari > Preferences

Then choose Privacy.

Select Manage Website Data

You’ll get a list of websites, and what’s stored. Some will just be a cache, and some will be a cache and cookies.

Remove all will delete all the site caches.

If you don’t want to clear everything, then you’ll need to click to select one site, or click and hold the Command key to select multiple sites. Then click Remove, which will become active once there are selections.

Click Done to return to the previous screen.
